Team Leader – Level 3 course

Production Planning Essentials

CS06

Presented by experienced planners

This workshop is aimed specifically at front line planners (sometimes called schedulers).

It is focussed primarily around running maintenance so covers the A/B check regimes and how to best manage a production centre to deliver the daily needs of the business.

KEY TOPICS

Introduction to the business of maintenance

Load and capacity management

Defect management

Managing competence and critical production resources

The use and discipline of AMS

Production control and keeping to plan

This workshop has taken our best planners and made them better. It has introduced them to the broader aspect of maintenance business management, looking at the critical interfaces with Engineering and Materials. Tough course, not for beginners, but so valuable for the more experienced planner(s).”
