Team Leader – Level 3 course
Effective Productionisation & Governance of a Modern Maintenance Facility
CS03
Presented by experienced maintenance managers
This course is designed to lift the team leader into the maintenance professional space. A place where safety, quality, cost all add to value.
It is aimed at mid-level managers and team leaders and looks at how production is organised and managed in a modern world. How we reduce waste, keep teams engaged, develop pride in our facilities.
KEY TOPICS
The maintenance professional – what sets them apart from an ordinary team leader
Productionising maintenance – borrowing assembly line techniques
Scheduling maintenance and production control
Throughput management – making use of all maintenance opportunities
The person in the system, the behaviours and how we lead engineers working on ‘generation Z’ equipment
“We ran this workshop as part of a suite of training for our leaders in production. The aim was to improve the professionalism of the people to reach for new and innovative opportunities to improve performance and add more value. Howard and his team exceeded my expectations.”
Stuart Jones, Head of Operations (West)
Course
delivery
This course can be delivered onsite or online, although we prefer onsite. The delegate is immersed in a number of real-life case studies that they use to develop skills they have learnt.
Using in-class exercises, combined with practical application throughout the two days, culminating in the presentation of real life production opportunities. A highly interactive course that delegates thoroughly enjoy and take much from.
This is a one-day course and can be enhanced by a pre-delivery review that allows our expert to tailor the material with real examples from your sites. Talk to us about this if interested.
